‘Baby Shark’ stage show

Since the catchy ditty Baby Shark was released in 2016, it has become a global phenomenon and currently holds the title of the most-watched YouTube video.

Now, a live theatre show tells the tale behind the song. Produced by Fairytale Stage Show, it features Mummy and Daddy Shark as they prepare Baby Shark for his first day of school. It follows him as he meets new friends, Olivia the Octopus and Tommy the Turtle, and is confronted by the school bully, Alex the Alligator.

ADHD awareness

This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week, and to mark the occasion, ADHD Ireland is hosting a free online event to raise awareness about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Taking place from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, March 19, this is a free event for anyone with ADHD, those who know someone with it, or anyone looking to learn more about the condition.

The event’s title is Why Should We Talk About ADHD? and will feature Dr Christina Seery, a leading expert in ADHD research in Ireland.

She will discuss why people might be hesitant to talk about ADHD and how they might benefit from starting a conversation.

The artist Laura Burke and Irish Examiner journalist Mike McGrath-Bryan will also contribute by sharing their personal stories of ADHD and what they have gained by talking openly about it.
